Book NowHijama (cupping therapy) is a time-honoured healing practice rooted in the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and supported by centuries of lived experience. It is more than a physical therapy — it is a holistic approach that aims to restore balance, promote healthy circulation, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
Through the careful removal of stagnant blood and metabolic waste, Hijama helps relieve pain, reduce inflammation, ease muscular tension, and revitalise both body and mind. By targeting specific anatomical and Prophetic points, it encourages detoxification and assists the body in regaining physiological harmony.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Indeed, the best of remedies you have is Hijama.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī)
When practised safely, professionally, and with intention, Hijama serves as a natural, non-pharmaceutical therapy that can complement modern healthcare — while reviving a powerful Prophetic remedy that nurtures both physical wellbeing and spiritual connection.
About Me
My passion for Hijama stems from a conviction that has grown over many years. I have long felt that health and wellbeing occupy a central place within the teachings of Islam.
The Qur'an and Sunnah encourage us to care for the body as a trust (amānah), to seek beneficial treatment, and to maintain the strength that enables us to worship Allah and fulfil our responsibilities to others. Yet I have often felt that this important aspect of our faith receives less attention than it deserves within much of our Islamic discourse.
As an Imam and hospital chaplain, I have spent years supporting people through illness, emotional hardship and life's many challenges. While spiritual guidance remains at the heart of my work, I have increasingly recognised that physical wellbeing and spiritual wellbeing are deeply connected. This inspired me to pursue professional training in Hijama so that I could serve my community in another practical and Prophetic way.
For me, Hijama is more than a therapy—it is an opportunity to help people improve their health, find relief from discomfort, and reconnect with an often-overlooked dimension of our Islamic tradition.
My hope is that every client leaves not only feeling physically refreshed, but also reminded that caring for our health is itself an act of gratitude to Allah.
Testimonials
Alhamdulillah, the hijama session with the sheikh was amazing! My lower back pain has greatly improved, and I feel completely relaxed. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it. JazakaAllah khair
Painless and relaxing experience. Feeling great after the therapy treatment.
…On top of that, his massage technique is outstanding. He pays close attention to detail, far more than many therapists I’ve been to, and you can really feel the difference. The care, effort, and professionalism he puts into each session are clear.
When you consider the level of service, knowledge, and time he gives, the value for money is unbelievable…
…Alhamdulillah, I felt lighter and more relaxed straight after the treatment—both physically and spiritually. Such a beautiful Sunnah practice, done with sincerity and kindness. Highly recommended to anyone considering it for both spiritual and health reasons.

Yes. I use single‑use sterile blades, fresh or sanitised equipment, and maintain a clean, private environment. Extra care is taken if you have medical conditions or take regular medication.
Most sessions last between 45–75 minutes, depending on whether you book Hijama, dry cupping, massage, or a combination.
Eat lightly a few hours before, stay hydrated, and wear loose, comfortable clothing. Try to arrive relaxed and with enough time so you are not rushed.
Rest, drink plenty of water, avoid heavy exercise for the rest of the day, and keep the treated areas clean and covered. I will explain any specific aftercare you need before you leave.

Hijama is a prophetic (Sunnah) therapy where cups are placed on the body to create suction, followed by light superficial incisions to remove small amounts of blood. It can be used both to help existing issues and as a preventative treatment.
Hijama is a well‑known Sunnah practice. The Prophet ﷺ described cupping as one of the best remedies, and many Muslims seek both physical benefit and spiritual reward through it.
This is completely normal. More bleeding does not necessarily mean more benefit, and less bleeding does not mean the session has not worked.
Clients commonly report pain relief, improved circulation, reduced stress, better sleep, and an overall sense of lightness and wellbeing after their sessions.
Some clients use Hijama alongside medical treatment for high blood pressure. Prescribed medication should never be stopped without your doctor’s advice, and Hijama is offered as a complementary therapy.
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety is a priority. I use single‑use sterile blades, ensure equipment is sanitised or disposable, and follow strict hygiene protocols in a clean, private setting.
Please inform me of any regular medication, especially blood thinners or strong prescription drugs. This allows the session to be planned safely for you.
Extra care is taken if you have long‑term or complex conditions. In some cases I may advise specific adjustments, or suggest you speak with your GP before booking.
Mild soreness, light bruising, and temporary tiredness can occur after Hijama or cupping. These usually settle within a few days and aftercare advice is provided.
Caution is needed in pregnancy, severe anaemia, bleeding disorders, and certain serious illnesses. In these situations, we would discuss your case carefully before proceeding.

Yes. Many people attend for prevention, detox, and the reward of reviving a Sunnah, even if they do not have a specific complaint.
Many clients report feeling calmer, lighter, and less fatigued after sessions. This can be due to both the physical treatment and the time taken to pause and reset.
Yes, but heavy workouts are best avoided for several hours before and after treatment. Gentle movement and walking are usually fine.
The approach can be adjusted for you. We can start gently, use fewer points, or choose dry cupping and massage if that suits you better.
For general wellbeing, many people attend every 1–3 months. Frequency can be tailored depending on your needs and response.
Dry cupping uses suction only, without blood removal. It is often combined with massage to relieve tension and improve circulation.
Dry cupping and relaxation massage can ease tight muscles, support circulation, reduce stress, and promote a deep sense of relaxation.
