Certified practitioner visiting homes in Carlisle, Penrith, Keswick, Whitehaven and the surrounding towns. Sessions are for men and start from £25.

What is Cupping Therapy?

Cupping is a traditional therapy where cups are placed on the skin to create gentle suction. The suction lifts the skin and the tissue beneath it, which many people find eases muscle tension and leaves them feeling lighter and more relaxed. AR Hijama offers both main types in Carlisle.

Wet Cupping (Hijama)

The Sunnah form of cupping. After suction, small superficial incisions are made with a single-use sterile blade and the cups are reapplied to draw out a small amount of blood. Many clients book on the Sunnah dates.

Dry Cupping

Suction only, with no incisions and no blood. A relaxing, non-invasive option that suits anyone who wants the feel of cupping without wet cupping, or who has a low pain tolerance.

Cupping & Massage

Relaxation massage can be booked on its own or alongside cupping to ease tight muscles and help you unwind. The Ultimate Wellbeing session combines a personalised selection of therapies in one longer visit.
